Senior Mechanical Engineer - Medical Device

Prepare and execute analytical models and apply results to real world tasks.2.

Plan and conduct (or direct technical personnel) to perform mechanical engineering experiments
to test, prove, or modify theoretical propositions.3.

Evaluate findings to develop new concepts, products, equipment, or processes.4.

Assess product requirements to determine system design.5.

Ensure that product design and related documentation meet requirements6.

Monitor progress relative to schedule for completion of functional devices or systems.7.

Contribute as team leader and/or expert team member for particular areas of the overall design.8.

Review project plans for overall soundness and adherence to stated objectives and contribute to
the development.9

Prepare technical reports for use by engineering or management personnel for long- and short
range planning, or for use by sales engineering personnel in sales or technical services activities.10.

Be involved in design, implementation, verification, and validation1. Thorough experience with the use of PTC Creo and SolidWorks.
2. Knowledge about PLM. Windchill is a must
3. Thorough theoretical and applied knowledge of mechanical
engineering principles and related analytical methods.
4. Familiarity with product development processes.
5. Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language

Product development or research and development experience.
2. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical
journals and technical legal documents.
3. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from
customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business
community.
4. Ability to effectively present information to top management and
public groups.
5. Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as exponents, and
logarithms.
6. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency
distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of
variance, and correlation techniques.
7. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid
conclusions.
8. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in
mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and
concrete variables
