SAS Programmer

OBJECTIVES:

The SAS & Analytics Programmer is responsible for the programming of any SAS based application as well as the development of new tools for the improvement of company operations, including the generation of the appropriate validation documents.

The SAS & Analytics Programmer with the other functional groups (e.g., Data Managers, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, Clinical Monitoring, Medical Writing, Project Management) is responsible:

* to ensure data management aspects of the project are properly considered and integrate well with the other activities.

* To set-up the Advanced Analytics & Machine Learning company tool for specific study data visualization and assessment and project metrics monitoring

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Liaises third parties with regards to data management and data analytics activities

* Assist with training the project team (train the trainer) as appropriate and will work to ensure project moves forward based on both time and budget

* Documents her activities (Preparation, maintenance, and review of documentation) according to relevant SOPs

* Provides inputs about new possible methodologies / technologies and manages their implementation with respect to the company requirements in terms of costs and performance.

* Establishes and implements programming standards and comply with regulatory requirements

* Contributes to validation activities carried on for computerized systems used to support the department activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Bachelor's Degree in Statistics

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Knowledge of Good Clinical Practices and applicable clinical trial related national and international regulations

* English skills, in written and spoken

* Excellent skills in use of computer technology, including clinical trial databases and applications and ability to learn new applications

* Excellent knowledge of SAS analytics

* Experience in working with electronic data capture tools
