REACh Senior Expert: Toxicology / Ecotoxicology Chemical

Facing upcoming REACh-like regulations in countries outside of Europe were are looking for a motivated and competent individual to join the team and add competence in the area of Toxicology and Eco-Toxicology to improve the quality and effectiveness of the Registration process.

Among the tasks and responsibilities will be:
-Compile registration dossiers / validate dossiers compiled by service providers
-Filing of registrations
-Communicate with ECHA and national competent authorities on dossier evaluation requests.
-Agree study plans, survey studies and validate results for toxicological and/or ecotoxicological relevance
-Data-Gap analysis, derive an justify read across and waiver approaches
-Chemical Safety Reports
-Modelling of quantitative Structure Activity Relationsships (QSAR)
-Transfer of Substrance data to product documentation (SDS, Exposure Szenarii)
-Support R&D in development of safer chemicals

The candidate should ideally have:
-A University degree in Toxicology or Eco-Toxicology or a university degree in chemistry, pharmacy or a related science followed by PhD and/or job experience in toxicology and/or eco-toxicology
-Fluent English skills as main communication language. The language of the office location and a second business relevant foreign language (Chinese, Spanish, Italian, French, German) would be beneficial.
-Experience in regulatory affairs / REACh framework -Experience in ERP Software (e. g. SAP), data management and IT office tools.

Remuneration based on experience.
