<p>Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Manager will have the following responsibilities:
</p><ul><li>Apply quality system elements as necessary to continuously improve and achieve the quality objectives.</li>
<li>Assure compliance with all aspects of the Quality Management System, by executing audits, and conducting follow up corrective actions to maintain and improve the system both internal and external.</li>
<li>Conduct management reviews of the quality system and make adjustments as necessary to align the system to the business strategy.</li>
<li>Facilitate and promote process management / lean manufacturing approaches with a quality principled focus.</li>
<li>Maintain and update the Quality Management System for shop construction of pressure vessels in accordance with applicable engineering standards.</li>
<li>Promote the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System culture within the Company.</li>
<li>Sustain the ISO 3834-2 Welding Quality Management System at Comprehensive level within all the welding construction sites.</li>
<li>Maintain and update the Quality Management Systems based on specific standards (ATEX, PED, ...).</li>
<li>Manage Quality Team: Quality Engineers & Quality Technicians.</li>
<li>Deploy strategic goals and objectives into operational plans and improvement projects.</li>
<li>Partner with strategic supply group on supplier management and development.</li>
<li>Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on the results of operating systems and business execution (external warranty, internal PPM, etc.).</li>
<li>Compile and present quality metrics, countermeasures and action plans for operations reviews.</li>
<li>Facilitates and promote problem-solving tools (the seven quality control tools, the seven management and planning tools, root cause analysis, Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA), 8D and other like models).</li>
<li>Drive toward world-class in product integrity, process quality and supplier quality using the appropriate technology and business tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP and SPC.</li>
<li>Develop and implement quality specifications, testing and test procedures for all new products and changes to existing products. Lead quality team in proactive management of product design and product change process approvals. Work with new product development teams.</li>
<li>Proactively approach customers to help build relationships and a clear understanding of expectations. Continually anticipate customer needs and priorities; and integrate them into the quality system and policy.</li>
</ul><br/><ul><li>ISO 9001 - ISO 3834-2 - ASME - ATEX - PED - Lean|Quality assurance & control - pressure containing parts</li></ul><br/><p>The successful candidate has the following characteristics:
</p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management or similar technical discipline.</li>
<li>8+ years' experience. A minimum of three years of this experience must be in a decision-making position with the authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome.</li>
<li>Supplier validation and Qualification experience</li>
<li>Manufacturing environment experience.</li>
<li>Must have experience handling multiple projects and driving bottom line results. Must be able to lead and develop teams consisting of manufacturing personnel (technical and operations), managers and suppliers.</li>
<li>Certified knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.</li>
<li>Knowledge of main quality/engineering standards applicable to pressure vessels, preferably for Oil & Gas applications: ASME U, PED, ATEX, ISO 3834-2.</li>
<li>Familiarity with Lean environment & implementation will be a a plus.</li>
<li>Very good communication skills.</li>
<li>Advanced knowledge of English and Italian.</li>
<li>Minimum travel required.</li>
